Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai boxing is known as the science of eight limbs. It gets this name because of its efficient use of the fists, feet, elbows and knees s its weapons. Thai Boxing is the national sport of Thailand. Muay Thai fighters are known throughout the world as the “kings of the ring”. This is due to their dominance in the ring throughout history. Thai boxers have a reputation of being among the best conditioned fighters in the world. This is all because of their training methods, which develop superior speed, power, and endurance. An amazing aspect of this art is that although their matches can be dangerous, training in Muay Thai is virtually injury free. At the Dubuque Martial Arts Group you will train in the same ways as these warriors. You will hone your skills to a razor’s edge and get in tip top shape.

Whether you are aspiring to compete in the ring or are looking for an extreme workout, Muay Thai training at D.M.A.G. can help you reach your goals. Not only will you experience training in Muay Thai, but you will also be exposed to other kickboxing methods and western boxing as well.
